Tactical Flashlight – TEAL XF3000

This impressive LED flashlight is powered by three Lithium-Ion batteries, each producing 3.7 volts (not AAA as reported earlier). These are rechargeable batteries and the light kit includes the charger. The light can be reduced in size and weight by unscrewing one battery in its case and it will work well with the remaining two batteries. We liked the brilliance of the three-battery set-up best. The suggested retail price is just under $200 for the whole kit.

We did a trial with this unit and came away completely impressed with its durable construction and its ultra-bright beam from the three LEDs. It completely lit up an otherwise dark marina.

They have all been exceptional yachts, but this is the one I would most want to own myself. We met with Neptunus Managing Director Jan Willem De Jong this past fall to take the new Neptunus 650F out in Lake Ontario.

A perfect sunset off St. John with St. Thomas views for backdrop.

Clearing Pillsbury Sound, surrounded by voluptuous emerald mountains as the ferry sliced through royal blue waters, I was struck by the unspoiled ambiance of St. John, the island gliding past our starboard beam and the irresistible charm of a village called Cruz Bay visible from our quarter stern.
