TugFest Georgian Bay is back at the Midland Town Dock in 2013

Tugfest 2013

August 16 – 18, 2013, as part of Midland’s Marine week, TugFest is a matchless, experience featuring a host of both historical and distinctive work boats and recreational tug-style vessels. The festival offers both residents and tourists a full list of activities including the spectacular parade of lights, tug parade, tug races, and the ever popular tug demonstration and tour of the boats.

This year, TugFest is introducing a fabulous new interactive event – the TugFest Georgian Bay Home-made Tugboat Race.

Marine Week
TugFest Georgian Bay 2013 kicks off a week of marine activities at the Midland Town Dock. TugFest runs until Sunday August 18. This is followed by a Canadian Navy Ship, which will be visiting until Thursday. And the week wraps up with the Tall Ships Festival which will include at least 3 class A Tall Ships.

On the same weekend, the Town of Midland is hosting the annual Artwalk on mainstreet and Harbour Festival in the park area adjacent to the town dock.
