Man in Motion Key Speaker at Boating BC Conference

Rick Hansen

Rick Hansen was amoung an impressive collection of guest speakers at this week’s Boating BC conference.

On November 24th and 25th members of the recreational boating industry in British Columbia stepped away from their busy lives to attend the 2015 Boating BC Conference, presented by Mercury Marine, at the Pacific Gateway Hotel in Richmond, BC. It’s an inspiring two days where people come to learn, connect and share ideas.

The theme Learn to Lead took delegates through a series of presentations on the latest industry news and trends, best practices in business and personal leadership, organizational culture and human resources. Each shared tangible takeaways to help grow recreational marine businesses in all sectors across the province.

It is the premier event for networking at the ever-popular Navis Marine Insurance Industry Reception, and consistently creates an environment rich in comradery through shared workshop activities and entertainment.

We met with Neptunus Managing Director Jan Willem De Jong this past fall to take the new Neptunus 650F out in Lake Ontario.

Sunset off St John

By Mark Stevens

I was first seduced by the United States Virgin Islands during a ferry ride from St. Thomas to Tortola to begin one of our earliest British Virgin Islands charters nearly twenty years ago.
