CanAm Challenge at the Youngstown Yacht Club

Canam Challenge Cup
Mar 15, 2016

The Youngstown Yacht Club is gearing up for the 3rd Annual “CanAm”.   Year two of the event saw growth as the club implemented new ideas in an effort to build a great one-design regatta for Lake Ontario.  They will be back this year, but unlike most years, this year’s event is not on the last weekend of July.  That spot is reserved for LYRA.  So mark you calendars now, the CanAm will be July 22-24, 2016.  If you plan to race your boat, please go to the Yachtscoring page now and register to help build out the one-design and pursuit classes.  Reminder, you can simply register online now and pay at a later date.

Registration and NOR can be found here:  http://yachtscoring.com/emenu.cfm?eID=1627

A more detailed report will be available in the coming months with all the details you’ll need. Please pass along to all your yacht clubs, fleet captains, and racing buddies.

As always, please reach out with questions.

Regatta Co-Chair:  Jason Suitor
Regatta Co-Chair:  Tim Finkle
Racing Chair:  Don Finkle

Scoreboard – Canada 2, USA 0….but at least the Americans won the street hockey last year!
