Freedom Boat Club With three franchises already in Canada, Toronto GTA boaters now have access to the advantages of Freedom Boat Club. The club is located in the Outer Harbour Marina on Unwin Ave.

The kickoff of the Club begins with a launch party on July 7. Three boats will be put into the facility to begin and Toronto franchisees Steve McPherson and Caitrin McPherson anticipate the fleet growing to 20.

The pair also runs Navy Pointand SailTime Ontario,a fractional membership sailboat club. Freedom is a power only operation initially using boats from Jeanneau, Hurricane and Campion.

BowriderMember benefits include pretty much everything a busy person wants fro the boating lifestyle, minus the work. After initiation and monthly membership, boaters have unlimited access to Freedom’s boats and, depending on their membership category, can bring friends along for the ride.

All the details are included: docking, maintenance and insurance. All training is included, beginning with a two-day orientation for new members, who can join with no previous experience. Refresh instruction is available whenever members wish.

Steve feels that “this is the future of boating. Our club gives Toronto boaters access to a boat and the waterfront when they need it without the high costs of mooring, winter storage and maintenance.” The club website is located online at , email Steve at This email address is being protected from spambots.
