POTWMichelle Jacques of Cambridge ON share this memory of her adorable pooch. “This is Frodo. Sadly, he passed away last year, but he loved being a boat dog!

“It was hard losing him, but he was a great dog and he lived to 15, so we were lucky. This photo was taken at Go Home Bay. His last summer we got to spend an epic six week trip with him from Honey Harbour to the 1000 Islands and back. “

It’s boating season – get out there and take some shots! The photos can be of anything (including dogs!) or other things nautical. They must be taken from or near a boat. They must be your shots and free from copyright. Most importantly, they must be wonderful. Send them to us along with the story behind them to This email address is being protected from spambots. We could publish your Photo of the Week in the next issue!!

But for me, the Scarab 255 Open was an immediate stand out. This is a boat that breaks new ground and brings fresh thinking and interpretation of the boating experience to a wide range of buyers.

We had a quick look around but the test drives would have to wait until the next day.
